Jayce Miller


Jayce is a graduate student pursuing his master’s in Computer Science. Outside of computer science, Jayce is a big fan of all types of music, specifically rap. He’s also a major fan of getting food, with anyone. So if you need a buddy to eat food with just let him know and he’s down! Jayce is most excited to meet all the different types of people and have an awesome time in grad school!

Destiny Murphy


Destiny Rose is a junior triple majoring in Political Science, Philosophy, and English, and double minoring in Human Rights, and Public Policy and International Affairs. In her free time she competes with the SMU Ballroom Dancing team and studies in the hopes of someday becoming a Supreme Court Justice. Her other goals include: owning a narwhal tusk and learning to properly cook tablitas. Come by and introduce yourself sometime this semester for recipe swapping!

Zach Wright


Zach is a Sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics and is a first-year RA. He enjoys sports (playing and watching) and is a huge Rangers, Mavericks, and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends, family, and his girlfriend Vivian. Zach spends most of his time at Dedman Rec Center or bartending at the Music Hall at Fair Park. He is excited about the challenges and experiences associated with becoming an RA and looks forward to meeting all of his fellow residents.

My name is Caroline Parker, but everyone just calls me Parker! I’m a sophomore majoring in business management with minors in fashion media and economics. I love listening to people’s stories and am always down to sing some high school musical with the windows down.



Emily Elson


Emily comes to SMU from Galveston, Texas. She intends to major in Mechanical Engineering and Math, and minor in Public Policy/International Affairs with the Tower Scholars Program. With her research experience and poster publication in a Factor VIII medical research lab at the University of Texas Medical Branch, she intends to connect the worlds of science, engineering and public policy together. In addition to the HCM Tower Scholars Program, Emily is a member of the University Honors, Dedman College Scholars, and Second Century Scholars programs.” She looks forwards to helping her community have a fantastic year!


Patrick nguyen


Patrick is a junior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. When he is not grinding out on his homework or studying for exams, you can usually find him playing tennis, working out at the gym, or spending time with friends. When school is over, he loves to travel and explore different places around the world. Best of all, his favorite hobby is to eat for days and catch up on sleep whenever he has a chance.

Adrieanna Reyes


Adrieanna spent most of her life growing up in Dallas. Adrieanna will be a junior this year majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology and cultural anthropology. Adrieanna also plans on staying in school to get a Master’s in higher education! She is also a Rotunda and McNair Scholar, and has been actively involved with our student-led football spirit group, Mustang11, and she is a sister of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. under the Multicultural Greek Council. Adrieanna is also a huge music person, so she loves talking about all kinds of music with other people! A perfect way to start a conversation with her would be through music.
